The City of Rochelle's own railway, CIR, provides lead-track service to your industry. Our unique advantage allows you to move railcars from your facilities to both the Union Pacific and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe main rails.

Due to the rapid growth of industry demanding rail access in Rochelle, we are in the process of expanding our track into new industrial areas and also expanding the amount of switching/storage track available.

The expansion of the CIR is one of the most exciting aspects of our industrial growth, and continues to make the Rochelle Area a logistically-strategic site.
