On Thursday August 25^th at 0231 a.m. the Rochelle Police Department received a 911 call from the Road Ranger located at 1101 N. 7^th Street. The caller advised he had been robbed and the offender fled south from the location. The employee advised responding officers that the offender was a male white in his mid 30’s, 180-210 pounds, wearing a red “hoodie”, blue jeans, and sunglasses with a purple bandana. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, he exited the store. The employee was not injured in the incident. K9 Don was deployed, and he was able to track the suspect to the area of 1251 Short Court, but the individual was not located.
