On Saturday January 28, at 11:04pm the Rochelle Police Department responded to several reports of guns shots, in the area of Dennis Street and Irene Ave.

Upon arrival officers learned that two vehicles and one residence had been struck by the gunfire. No one sustained any injuries as a result of this incident.

Witnesses reported seeing a light colored vehicle, possibly a crossover type 4-door, fleeing the scene.

 

Officers learned that the shooting stemmed from an incident that occurred a short time earlier at a local gas station and were able to obtain surveillance footage of the suspects and the suspect vehicle.
