On July 4th, 2008 the City of Rochelle hosted the annual Independence Day parade. The parade started in the 400 block of north 6th Street and continued to Lincoln Avenue, N. 9th Street, and finally to 10th Avenue, where it made its way to Cooper and Attwood Parks.

As always the Rochelle Police Department lead the way. This year the parade had many participants, including members of the local VFW post, Rochelle Fire Department, Boy Scouts, Hub City Senior Center Prom King and Queen, Rochelle Riders Motorcycle Club, Rochelle Vipers Softball and the Ogle County 4-H Horse Drill Team just to name a few.

Below are some photos, compliments of Detective Sgt. Jeff Leininger, from this years parade.
