On Monday May 25th, 2009 the City of Rochelle hosted the annual Memorial Day. This year the parade started in the down town district and proceded down South Main Street to St. Patricks Cemetery.

The Rochelle Police Department lead the way, followed by members of the local VFW post, Rochelle Fire Department, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Rochelle Township High School Marching Band, Vintage Military Vehicles and others.
