Members of the Rochelle Police Department qualify with various duty weapons each year. Below are some photos of officers qualifying with the departments MP-5 and M-16 rifles. The MP-5s are utilized by the Emergency Response Team, while the M-16s are deployed in the patrol squads.

Officers are issued a HK USP .45 handgun as their primary duty weapon and are allowed to carry a back-up weapon, subject to approval by the chief of police and qualification.

The Rochelle Police Department has an indoor range, which members utilize for state required qualifications and for general practice.
