| The City of Rochelle is pleased to announce the appointment of Lieutenant Bill Winebaugh as Acting Fire Chief for the Rochelle Fire Department, effective Saturday, March 7, 2009.
Mr. Winebaugh has been employed by the City of Rochelle since 1981 and has served as a Lieutenant for the Fire Department since 1986.
His appointment will continue for an undetermined period of time as the City explores options to fill the position on a permanent basis.
