| The City of Rochelle Advanced Communications division is seeking a Temporary Support Technician. The position will be 40 hours per week and last through summer or will be part time and last through fall at the rate of $8.00 per hour, dependant on the candidate and the needs of the department.
The Support Technician will:
• Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages.
• Install, assemble and configure computers, monitors, and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware.
• Install cables and rewire or direct the rewiring of cables as required.
• Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems; repair and/or replace equipment where required.
