| ROCHELLE, IL – Join us during City Cleanup Week to keep Rochelle beautiful! The City of Rochelle announces Annual City Cleanup week from May 3-7. Start with your own home as you clear unwanted items in your basement or garage.
Large unwanted items may be set out with your regular trash pickup and Street Division crews will follow Rochelle Disposal’s route to pick up these items. Items are to be broken down into 5 foot sections. Unacceptable items are gasoline, motor oil, paint, car batteries, tires, appliances, or hazardous materials.
Appliance Pickup is June 21st. Visit City Hall or RMU to schedule free appliance pickup.
Hazardous materials can be taken to a drop-off center in Rockford at 3333 Kishwaukee Street on Saturdays from 8am-4pm or on Sundays from noon-4pm.
Call Tire Tracks at 562-7777 for battery & tire disposal. Tires are disposed of for a minimal $2.00 fee each.
