| The Illinois Dept. of Transportation will be performing pavement surface removal and resurfacing operations beginning June 9th along Rte 38 from Lincoln Hwy to 600’ east of Caron Rd. Furthermore, the City of Rochelle, through an intergovernmental agreement with IDOT, will perform the same type of work along the following adjacent streets:
Tilton Manor Drive from Rte 38 north approximately 300’.
Springdale Drive from Rte 38 to approximately 150’ north of Sunnymeade.
Brookside Drive from Rte 38 to North Knoll Drive intersection.
Turkington Terrace from Rte 38 south to McConaughy Avenue intersection.
Calvin Road from Rte 38 south to McConaughy Avenue intersection.
Caron Road from Rte 38 to approximately 100’ south of Linder Lane.
The project is expected to be complete by July 16th with periodic lane closures along the identified routes. Residents are requested not to park along these affected streets until the construction work has been completed. Temporary No Parking Signs will be posted and enforced along the streets to ensure the construction operations proceed as scheduled. Residents and the motoring public should expect delays and use caution when travelling through the workzones. Please pay attention to the temporary traffic control devices and warning signs posted throughout and advance of the project limits.
