| Rochelle, IL – The City of Rochelle and contractor Road Oil Corporation will begin seal coat operations on or about July 18, 2010. The following streets are scheduled for seal coat:
2nd Street – 1st Avenue to Avenue E
2nd Street – 10th Avenue to School Avenue
3rd Street – Avenue C to Avenue E
9th Street – 1st Avenue to 5th Avenue
9th Street – 9th Avenue to Tilton Park Drive
10th Street – 10th Avenue to Lincoln Avenue
11th Street – 6th Avenue to 10th Avenue
12th Street – 5th Avenue to Lincoln Avenue
14th Street – 8th Avenue to Lincoln Avenue
2nd Avenue – Lincoln Avenue to 12th Street
5th Avenue – IL Rt 251 to Woolf Court
7th Avenue – IL Rt 251 to Woolf Court
9th Avenue – IL Rt 251 to Woolf Court
10th Avenue – IL Rt 251 to Atwood Park Entrance
Avenue C – Main Street to 2nd Street
Avenue D – Main Street to 2nd Street
Dennis Street – Shirley Avenue to Irene Avenue
Irene Avenue – Main Street to Gary Street
Janet Avenue – Cleveland Avenue to Gary Street
School Avenue – 2nd Street to dead end East of Caron Road
Shirley Avenue – Main Street to Cleveland Avenue
Westview Circle – Entire Length
Woolf Court – 10th Avenue to Lincoln Avenue
Lawnridge Cemetary Roadways
Portions of the routes and intersections will be periodically closed to through traffic during the project and the public should use other alternate routes. Advance warning and other temporary traffic control devices will be posted near the affected areas. Temporary no parking areas along these streets will be enforced during the construction operations. The project is expected to be complete by July 23, 2010.
