The City of Rochelle is excited to announce the 13th Annual Christmas Tree Festival! All proceeds raised from the event will benefit the Rochelle Rescue Mission.
The Rochelle Rescue Mission provides temporary shelter and direction until more permanent solutions may be found. The shelter provides temporary housing assistance for up to twenty people at a time with four separate sleeping rooms – a men’s room, a women’s room and two rooms for families. The facility also has common dining and living areas for guests. The Rochelle Rescue Mission assists with finding employment and a permanent place to live and relies on volunteer assistance for much of the operation.
To help us support this wonderful local causes all local businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to donate decorated table-top trees, wreaths, swags and gift baskets. Visitors to City Hall bid on items throughout the week. Bidding ends on Friday at 6:30pm during the Christmas Walk festivities.
If you would like to donate items for a Gift Basket, volunteers will assemble a basket for you. All deliveries must be made by Monday December 3rd.
