The Rochelle Municipal Airport invites you to the 15th Annual Fly-In Drive-In for Sunday August 21st!
The fun starts at 11:00AM at Koritz Field, located at 1201 West Gurler Road with pork chop sandwiches, hot dogs, Del-Monte sweet corn, chips and cold drinks sponsored by the Rochelle Area Chamber of Commerce. See many different types of planes coming in and out of the airport. Kids can bounce in the Moore’s True Value bounce house for free! Roberts Armory’s convoy of military vehicles and equipment will be on display for the day.
A special ceremony to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Major Koritz passing will take place at Noon. The Blackhawk Helicopter will be in attendance to commemorate the anniversary.
New this year, see the Chicagoland Skydiving Center’s jumpers take the sky throughout the day! A special jump will take place at approximately 1:00PM. Take a turn in the Skydiving Simulator and see what it feels like to jump out of an airplane.
