City of Rochelle Requests Proposals for former Patterson Building & 1.3 Acre Downtown Lot

The City of Rochelle is excited to accept proposals for the redevelopment of the former Patterson Lumber Building site and a 1.3-acre downtown lot at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Washington Street.

“We’re excited to see more redevelopment take place in our Downtown corridor,” said City Manager Fiegenschuh.  “The City made the initial investment in cleaning up the area and we are ready to see its full potential.”

Currently zoned I-1 Industrial, the parcels could be combined for a project or utilized separately by different developers.  The project proposal must include a proposed use or redevelopment of the vacant lot; a project timeline and completion date; and the anticipated total project costs. Additional information may be requested following submittal.  The submission deadline is Tuesday, July 12th at 4:30 pm.
