The City of Rochelle’s Administrative Services Department houses our Finance Department which coordinates all accounting services for the City of Rochelle and RMU including accounts payable and receivable, all budgeting, and the annual audit. Since the City of Rochelle’s fiscal year runs from January 1 – December 31, the Budget process begins with City Staff in late September and is typically approved by the City Council in mid-December.

Administrative Services provides support for the City and Rochelle Municipal Utilities with general accounting and financial management. The Finance Director serves as the City Treasurer and the Treasurer of the Police and Fire Pension Boards.
