State law requires that municipalities annually hold a meeting of a Joint Review Board for the City’s Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Districts. The joint review board is made up of representatives from local taxing bodies who receive property taxes from a designated TIF District.

The annual meeting is usually held near the middle of October.  At that meeting, the annual TIF financials are reviewed along with a review of any new TIF projects.  Joint Review Board meetings are open to the public.
