Independence Day Parade & Fireworks

The City of Rochelle is pleased to announce its annual Fireworks display to take place on Saturday July 2nd at dusk.  The show will take place in the usual location, just to the west of Cooper and Atwood Parks.  Local food vendors and the Municipal Band will join the celebration.  New this year, tune your radio to 102.3 The Coyote for a star-spangled soundtrack to play along with the fireworks show! 

All are welcome to join the parade hosted by the Rochelle VFW, also on Saturday July 2nd, stepping off from City Hall at 11AM.  No registration is required – just bring your red, white and blue!

Rochelle’s fireworks are sponsored by the City of Rochelle and Rochelle Park District and will be shot by a vendor selected by our Fire Department this year.  Although fireworks are historically held on the Fourth in Rochelle, the switch to July 2nd allows our staff to spend the holiday with their own families.
