Governor Extends Stay-at-Home Order to May 30th

Governor Pritzker has announced an extension of the Stay-at-Home order to May 30th. Additionally, anyone over the age of 2 should wear a face mask when out in public and unable to maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet.

Highlights in the order include:

-Hospitals are able to reschedule elective surgeries if adequate protective equipment is available.

-Retail stores previously deemed ‘non-essential’ may use phone, online, curbside pickup and delivery.

-Garden centers may remain open

-State Parks will see a phased re-opening with social distancing requirements.
