The 2022 Old Fashioned Christmas Walk will take place on Friday December 2 throughout Downtown Rochelle from 4-8pm.
The parade steps off at 5:30, strolling down Lincoln Highway. Visit Santa and roast a s'more at the Museum from 4-7pm. His reindeer will be parked at Terri Shaeffer State Farm Insurance from 4-6pm for all to visit. After the parade, the annual Lighting of the Community Tree will take place with the announcement of this year's Community Gratitude Award winner. Carriage rides will take place again from 4-8pm with line up beginning in front of the Museum. The VFW Auxiliary will host a Craft Fair on Friday from 4-8pm and again on Saturday December 3 from 10am-2pm. The Library will host Polar Express night following the parade until 7:30pm. Ralfie's BBQ will be serving up their famous BBQ and more at the corner of 4th Avenue and Lincoln Highway. Enjoy Breakfast with Santa at the VFW on Sunday December 4th from 8-11am.
