We’re having a Hay Day downtown Rochelle on Saturday October 12th! Our family-friendly fall festival runs from 11am to 5pm in Downtown Rochelle. Over fifty haybales are being decorated around town in preparation for the annual event!
New for 2019 is a Children’s Costume Parade! The parade will line up at City Hall and step off at 1pm. All ages are invited to join and bikes, strollers or wagons are welcome. The Rochelle Police & Fire Departments will lead and close the parade.
The festival features a petting zoo, giant inflatables, crafts, face painting, s’mores and more! Children are welcome to come in costume and may even find a treat! City Hall hosts a Pumpkin Decorating Contest for school ages through adult. The Rochelle Fire Department will host an open house during the event where all are invited to tour the Fire Department.
We’ll have plenty of good food available with the Oasis Mexican Food, Sunshine Bakery, El Senor de los Tacos and more!
Magician Brian Holt takes the stage at 11am for our Magic Show followed by the music of the Templetons. Musical entertainment will be provided by bluegrass band The Templetons – a family of ten playing old time favorites.
Businesses, organizations and crafty individuals are invited to join in the fun! For details, visit www.enjoyrochelle.com.
We hope to see you there!
