On Wednesday, February 21st at 0929, the Rochelle Police Department received a call from a Rochelle Township High School administrator. The caller advised that a gun had been located in a locker. Upon arrival to the scene, officers met with school personnel and determined that the weapon was a BB gun. Two male juveniles were taken into custody. It should be noted that the school did go into a soft lockdown status while the incident was investigated on site, and the students were not in danger.
