This position is responsible for the major functions of:
- Energy procurement.
- Financial analysis of Rochelle Municipal Utilities business operation using a variety of statistical and analytical tools such as regression analysis, trend analysis, sales forecasting, discounted cash flows, Monte Carlo simulation analysis, and cost/benefit analysis.
- Strategic and operational planning.
- Performance measurement.
- Organizational and operational assessments.
- Process improvement.
- Employee and customer surveys.
- Special investigations and audits.
Requirements include:
- Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Extensive experience in finance and business or public administration.
Preferences include:
- Extensive (5+ years) of progressively responsible experience in Energy Procurement and Financial/Business Analysis functions on behalf of a utility.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Organizational Development, or related field is preferred.
- Experience in ISO 9000, Malcolm Baldrige, Six Sigma Black Belt, or internal auditing is desirable, but not required
